A three-run home run from Jeon Jun-woo gave the Lotte Giants a 4-1 win on Friday over the Hanhwa Eagles. The run gave the team the lead after five innings of a tied ballgame.

The game kicked off a three-game series hosted by the Giants at the Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan, South Korea.

The home run from Jeon was his 22nd of the season. It took home Lee Byung-hyu and Kim Dong-han, who got on base with a walk and a hit (Kim was a pinch runner for Lee Dae-ho) previously in the inning.

The play came against Jun Woo-ram, who pitched the eighth inning for the Eagles. The loss moved Jung’s 2020 record to 3-5, with a record of 1-1 against the Giants.
