Giants Score Three Against Twins Starter To Win

The Lotte Giants scored three runs against LG Twins starter Lim Chan-gyu to win 3-2 on Thursday. The game finished a three-game series hosted by the Twins at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.

The series was tied heading into its third game, with the Twins winning the game on Wednesday and the Giants taking the Tuesday match.

Lim Allows Three

Twins starter Lim gave up all three runs to the Giants, giving him his ninth loss of the season. Lim pitched six-and-one-third innings, allowing six hits, three walks and three runs. He has now went 1-1 against the Giants this season.

The Giants took a lead early in the game, as a hit from Lee Dae-ho in the first inning drove home two tuns.

The third run for the team came in the seventh inning, with a hit from Kim Joon-tae bringing in another runner.

Positive Statistics Added To Giants Pitching

The scoring plays from the Twins happened in the third and eighth inning. A hit from Oh Ji-hwan scored a run in the third. The run came against Giants starter Noh Kyung-eun, who was given his sixth win of the season after a six-inning stint.

The win was a long overdue one for Noh, who has last won in a game in early August. Since then Noh had lost four games in nine appearances.

Kim Min-sung took home the other run for the Twins in the eighth.

The save for the game went to Kim Won-joong, making it his 21st of the season.

Giants Head Home To Host Eagles

The Giants will head back home for their weekend series, as the team will host the Hanhwa Eagles for a trio of games. The first of the series is on Friday with the first pitch scheduled for 2:00PM KST (1:00AM EDT).

Similar to their win the day before, the Hanhwa Eagles won a blowout 12-4 game over the Doosan Bears.

A hit from Kang Han-wool brought in the deciding run for the Samsung Lions, who won 7-6 against the KT Wiz in the 10th inning.

The Kia Tigers won a low-scoring 3-1 game against the Kiwoom Heroes to sweep their three-game series.
