For the second consecutive day, weather has held back the Lotte Giants from hosting the Doosan Bears. The final game of their three-game series did not happen on Monday due to persistent rain at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan, South Korea.

The game was one of the three cancelled on Monday. A game between the Samsung Lions and KT Wiz as well as a matchup between the NC Dinos and the LG Twins was rained out.

KBO teams usually don’t play on Mondays, however, forecasts of rain on Sunday moved the games a day ahead.

The Giants looked to conclude their three-game series against the Bears which was tied through the first two matches. On Friday, the Bears won a 10-5 game. The Giants answered back the next day with a 5-4 win.

With the next week of play starting on Tuesday, the Giants will stay at home for a three-game series against the LG Twins. An early forecast shows rain potentially affecting the game, which is currently scheduled for 6:30PM KST (5:30AM EDT).

On the weekend the team will head to the home park of the Samsung Lions for a series.

The Bears will head back to Seoul to start their next week. The ball club will play a three-game series against the SK Wyverns before heading to Gwangju, South Korea to face the Kia Tigers.
