Bellator Returns To Oklahoma For Show Number 181

Bellator makes it’s return to Oklahoma after a huge event at Madison Square Garden last month. This event, unlike the one in NYC, will be shown in it’s entirety online and on SPIKE. The prelims, which start at 7PM EST will be online for free at the official SPIKE website, with the rest of the show kicking off at 9PM EST on Television.

Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma is the exact location within where this event will happen. This is Bellator’s 13th appearance at the venue, with their last one being on March 3, 2017.

It’s Derek Campos (18-6-0) and Brandon Girtz (14-6-0) in the Catchweight division who square off in the main event of this show. This is their third time meeting in the octagon. The first time, at Bellator 96 in 2013, Campos won via decision. More recently at Bellator 146 in 2015, Girtz defeated Campos via TKO. During the weigh ins yesterday, Girtz weighed in at 157.7, and Campos weighed in at 155.4.

When asked a question about the fight during the weight ins, Girtz said “It’s gonna be a war tomorrow”. Campos said “Imma do what I should have done last time, and like he said it’s gonna be a war”.
