Last night at Ring of Honor’s 16th Anniversary show, Dalton Castle successfully defended his ROH Championship against Jay Lethal. After the match, his soon to be revealed next challenger, Marty Scurll came out.
Scurll cut a promo during the Facebook Post-show, mentioning that he has never gotten a shot at the title. After asking what Castle thought about the title match, Bully Ray came out. Bully says that Scurll earned a title shot, thus booking the match. Earlier in that night, Scurll had defeated Punishment Martinez.
After, this announcement, Bully Ray announced that Kenny Omega will be at the TV tapings on Saturday. Kenny Omega made an un-announced appearance on the Friday show, disguised under Bury The Bear’s outfit during Cody’s match. After the match, Kenny took off the costume, giving Cody a Shove and hitting the V-Trigger.
By the looks of it, much more ROH is coming this week.
