Fielding Error Gives Giants One-Run Win Against Lions

A low-scoring 1-0 win went to the Lotte Giants on Saturday, who tied their three-game series against the Samsung Lions. The game was hosted by the Lions at the Daegu Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea.

The sole scoring play came from an error, as a ground ball fumbled by third-baseman Choi Young-jin allowed Han Dong-hee to get around from second base to home.

The loss for the game went to David Buchanan, who pitched the first six innings of play. Despite the loss, Buchanan had a decent night on the mound, allowing four hits and one walk while recording six strikeouts.

Giants starter Lee Seung-heon earned a win for his seven-inning outing. Kim Won-joong was given the save for the game after playing the full ninth inning.
